SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 36

Congratulating Sweet Springs Water of Gap Mills, West Virginia, for winning first place in the International Water Tasting Competition.

Whereas, Sweet Springs Water of Gap Mills, Monroe County, West Virginia, began its distribution of noncarbonated water in 1990; and
Whereas, Sweet Springs Water is entirely a West Virginia product, which is now distributed in four states; and
Whereas, Sweet Springs Water won international honors for the fourth time, having won in 1991, 1993, 1995 and 1997; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby congratulates Sweet Springs Water for winning the 1997 International Water Tasting Competition, making this West Virginia product internationally known; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the general manager of Sweet Springs Water, Mr. Howdy Henritz.
